Certificate in Menopause Support
21st May @ 10:30 - 15:30 BST
GBP150 – GBP170
This one-day workshop was developed to provide well-being professionals with an overview of the physical and psychological issues of the menopause. As a result, it enables them to support women on their menopausal journey.
If you professionally support women in your practice and would like to understand more about menopause, then this workshop is for you. We will explore the facts and myths in detail, and your questions will be answered. Afterwards, the workshop will be supported with downloadable written material, forms, scripts and client work book.
This Workshop is delivered by Kim Thomas, who is a qualified advanced Human Givens Psychotherapist with years of experience working with stress and trauma. Now, as Founder of the Menopause Wellbeing Clinic, Kim supports and coaches 100’s of women who are experiencing difficulties or challenges during the peri and post menopause journey.
Debilitating symptoms
Whilst many women sail through the menopause, some can have debilitating symptoms that prevent them from enjoying life. The Menopause workshop is dedicated to training wellbeing professionals to support their clients who may need help and guidance during what can be a difficult time. Bearing in mind that each client’s experience of the menopause is unique, it follows that each appointment must be tailored to the clients’ individual needs.
In the light of research which has shown that a large proportion of menopausal women feel stressed or anxious, it follows that working to reduce those feelings is key. Stress often leads to poor diet and unhealthy lifestyles, which can in turn cause more cortisol release. The result is often more weight around the middle, mood swings, brain fog, and energy crashes. Because of all this, your client may feel like she is on a hamster wheel. This workshop will provide you with the tools to help pause that hamster wheel.
