Feelings and Needs: Introducing the Language of Compassionate Communication (NVC)
One Day Online CPD Course for Qualified and Student Therapists, Coaches and Counsellors
Introducing the work of Marshall Rosenberg and the modality of Non-Violent Communication (NVC), also known as Compassionate Communication, this workshop will explore how we express ourselves and how we hear others; and how we can increase our ability to create meaningful connections, both with others and with ourselves, and how we can empower our clients to do the same within their own relationships.
Effective, empathic and non-judgemental communication remains at the heart of our work as therapists. NVC can help us deepen our own self-awareness in order to recognise and express our own feelings and needs, and to hear the underlying unmet needs of others, often expressed in unuseful ways, such as anger or violence.
The course is open to all student and qualified hypnotherapists, counsellors, NLP Master Practitioners and psychotherapists. Whether online or at our School in Scarborough, our courses are kept to a maximum number of five students in order to ensure individual attention and a good group dynamic.
This course has been given Quality Checked CPD training recognition by the National Hypnotherapy Society (HS) and the National Counselling Society (NCS). This course alone is not a route to the Accredited Register nor does it fully equip a participant to practice as a qualified practitioner or refer to themselves as ‘a specialist’ in the subject matter unless they have other qualifications to support this.
