No Self – No Problem! East Meets West In Change Work
19th March @ 10:00 - 16:00 GMT

Join Jørgen Rasmussen for a fascinating new two day online workshop where he shares his unique approach to change work and teaches how you can use it with your clients and with yourself.
An Exciting New Training from Jørgen Rasmussen
Following on from his successful Psychological Illusion Model training, Jørgen presents this new workshop which focusses on helping people see through the self illusion. This workshop explores this topic both as it relates to clients’ specific issues in change work as well as how one can personally have realisations about the self illusion and deepen it over time.
Imagine:
Being able to be free of problems through gaining insights on the illusory nature of the self
Being able to use these approaches for your own self-development as well as help clients make changes at the level of identity and self concept
Blending Eastern and Western approaches to enhance your change work
Finding out how the mindsets of some therapists can hinder their effectiveness and how to overcome these challenges
Helping clients to realise that self esteem is a myth which, when believed in, creates exactly the issues that they think improving self esteem would solve
Being able to troubleshoot what can go “wrong” when exploring this terrain.
Blending Eastern and Western Approaches
Jørgen’s approach is not a common one as it blends elements of both Eastern and Western approaches. Eastern traditions often emphasise this trick of the mind and the illusory nature of the self, however this can often involve long term meditation and contemplation practice which is not very useful for most clients that walk into your office. On the other hand, Western approaches to self-improvement often focus on the content and the process of how we think and not explore the nature of the self in an experiential way.
