Self Care and the Therapist presented by Jo Jones.
How we can manage our own overwhelm when working with clients who are perhaps very distressed.
How we can notice when we are feeling resistance, becoming triggered and what we can do to help things feel better.
We’ll look at the basics of mindfulness, how those things can inform our perspectives on our own experience (as humans) and how we can mindfully prepare our own toolkit, to feel more steady and even more useful to our clients.
