Working with Children and Teenagers

This CPD will introduce you to working with children and teenagers through the lens of child psychologists Jean Piaget, Erik Erikson, John Bowlby, David Elkind and others. We will look at various aspects of child development including how their thinking develops; how drawing can provide us with an insight into the child’s mind; why teenagers take risks; and why young people develop low self-esteem and experience anxiety and low-mood.
